Horizon View 7.0 – Part 6 – Adding vCenter Server

Horizon View is totally dependent on the vSphere environment to provision the Desktops. Before adding the vCenter Server do check the Compatibility Matrix.

Login to the View Administrative Console and goto Servers -> vCenter Servers. Click Add.

Mention the vCenter Credentials and also check the Advanced Settings.

Accept the Certificates if prompted.

In the View composer settings, as of now select Do not use View Composer and click Next. We will be discussing about configuring View Composer in later posts.

Select the appropriate Storage Settings.

Review all the settings and click Finish.

Once it is done, vCenter will get populated.
