VMware SRM 6.x – Part 10 – Create Recovery Plan

The Recovery plan is an automated plan to recover the Virtual Machines. It includes all the Protection Groups and also defines the following information.

  • All the Virtual Machines in the protection group.
  • Start order of the virtual machines.
  • Any Scripts to run after the VMs are Powered-On.

To create a recovery plan, click on Create a Recovery Plan.

Give a Name to the Recovery Plan.

Select the Recovery Site.

Select the Protection Group.

Select the Network mappings.

Verify all the settings and click Finish.

Done. A recovery plan is created.

Now you could see all the steps are done.

VMware Site Recovery Manager is finally installed and configured.
