December 1, 2017VMware SRM 6.x – Part 3 – Site Pairing
Once the installation of SRM Server is done, you need to pair the Protected and Recovery site. Site pairing can be done either on the Protected site or on the Recovery site.
To do so, login to the Web Client and you would see the Site Recovery Manager plugin already installed for you.
Open the Site Recovery in the Web Client.
Under sites you’ll see a Site depending on the SRM Server which you are accessing.
Select the site and click the Pair Site link under the Summary tab.
Type in the FQDN of the PSC of the remote site. This FQDN should match the address which you input during the installation of the SRM server.
Select the vCenter Server and type in the SSO username and password.
Click Yes to Accept the certificate.
The sites will get paired. You can see the paired site on both the sites.
Tats it !!! Very Simple. Isn’t it?? Next we need to replicate the VMs between the sites.
