VMware SRM 6.x – Part 8 – Test Replication

Site B

We configured the Replication, However it is good to test the replication. To do so, Login to the Recovery Site vCenter and goto vCenter Inventory -> Monitor -> vSphere Replication -> Incoming Replications.

Right click the VM and select Recovery.

Select Synchronize recent changes and click Next.

Type In the Protected Site vCenter SSO credentials.

Select a folder to place the Virtual Machine.

Select a resource to place the Virtual Machine.

Make sure you select the Power on the virtual Machine after recovery option and click Finish.

The VM will be Powered ON at the recovery site.

If you get the VM, which means that the Replication is successful.
