VMware vRealize Orchestrator 7 – Part 1 – Deploy OVF

The VMware vRealize Orchestrator is a free tool that helps in automating the vSphere functions. The vRealize Orchestrator is very helpful in creating simple, complex and automated workflows.

Deploying vRealize Orchestrator OVF

You can download the vRealize Orchestrator appliance from VMware Website.

After it is downloaded, right click the cluster or ESXi Server and select Deploy OVF Template.

Select the downloaded OVF File.

Review the details and click Next.

Accept the license and click Next.

Give a name to the appliance and click Next.

Select the destination datastore and click Next.

Select the desired portgroup and click Next.

Do enter the Management IP, Hostname, OS password and click Next.

Review all the settings and enable the Power ON after deployment and click Finish.

Once the deployment process is complete and the appliance has booted up, you ll get this screen.
