VMware NSX 6.x – Part 3 – Registering NSX Manager with vCenter Server

Once the NSX Manager is deployed, we would need to register the vCenter Server with NSX Manager. Open your browser and type in https://<fqdn or IP of NSX Manager> 

Username: admin

Password: Which was input during OVF Deployment

After Login, click Manage vCenter Registration.

Configure the NTP settings and then navigate to NSX Management Service in the left plane.

Under Lookup Service, click Edit.

Enter the IP of you PSC and also the SSO user details.

Click Yes to accept the certificate.

Now the status should show as connected.

Click Edit under vCenter Server.

Enter your vCenter details.

Now the vCenter Server status should show as connected. If yes, NSX Manager has successfully registered with vCenter Server.
